About the College Park Scholars Alumni Association
Founded in 2004, the College Park Scholars Alumni Association, Inc. (CPSAA) is an organization open to the nearly 8,000 alumni of the College Park Scholars living-learning program at the University of Maryland. The CPSAA includes undergraduate and graduate alumni committed to the continued growth and success of College Park Scholars and the continued fellowship among and between alumni and current Scholars. Through networking, social, and service events, development initiatives, and collaborations with program faculty and current students, the CPSAA aims to extend the College Park Scholars Community beyond the undergraduate experience. Unlike the University Alumni Association, eligibility for this alumni group begins once you receive your Scholars Citation. There are two types of alumni:
- Junior Alumni have received their Scholars citation but are working towards graduation.
- Senior Alumni have received both their Scholars citation and their diploma.
Both junior and senior alumni are able to participate in the range of events that are offered by the Scholars Alumni Association. Please visit our events area to find out more about these opportunities, and take a few moments to also visit your program sites to catch up on what's going on with your old Scholars program.
