Join the CPSAA at Service Day

The CPSAA is very excited to announce its support of the 14th Annual College Park Scholars Service Day. Service Day is one of the signature events for the Scholars program, providing opportunities for incoming freshman to interact with UM faculty and staff, and members of the CPSAA in a day of service to the community.

On August 28, 2009, alumni (from juniors on campus through full graduates) are encouraged to join the CPSAA at Mount Calvert Historical & Archaeological Park (a part of the Maryland-National Capital Parks and Planning Commission) where they will assist in the archaeological dig process. Not only is this a great way to support the Scholars community, but is a great way to aid in the conservation of the environment and make a difference in neighboring communities. It also serves as a great reunion for former Scholars to spend some time together doing community service.
